Pratul Singh Raghava

I'm a software engineer who builds things end to end, and I do my best work when the people I'm building for are in the room. Right now I'm the engineer on BackupMeraki at Nexivity: a SaaS on AWS that backs up, restores and compares Cisco Meraki network configurations, effectively version control and disaster recovery for cloud-managed networks. I work directly with the founder, taking each piece of work from a design doc to shipped code across eight repositories. Before that I was the sole engineer at Done Life, an AI-first life-admin app. One month in, I made the call to scrap a year of no-code tooling and built a working prototype in a single day that outperformed it. From there I took the app from a scaffold to production on iOS and Android, with an AI email pipeline, per-user encryption, subscription billing, Terraform infrastructure and CI/CD. The other half of my story is people. I've taught machine learning to 530+ engineering students at the University of Sydney, most of whom arrived having never written code, and I learn every student's name. As President of the USYD Robotics Club I grew it from 230 members to 1,800, the second-largest club on campus, with one motto: "we have to be better, not bigger."
